Summary
We know that rubber rollers are very prone to aging in daily applications. Below we introduce methods to prevent the aging of rubber rollers, hoping to be of some help to your work.
Rubber rollers should not be stored near large electric motors or generators. The large amount of ozone produced by these devices can cause the surface of the rubber rollers to age and crack.
When the weather is cold, the ink may not apply evenly. You can appropriately add auxiliary materials to the ink, but do not use infrared heaters or other devices to bake the ink rubber rollers to prevent oxidation.
Rubber rollers that have aged due to prolonged use, combined with the erosion of chemicals, can cause the rubber to break down. It is best not to use such rubber rollers anymore, as they seriously affect the quality of the printed products.
To ensure that rubber rollers do not affect production and printing quality, there must be spare ink rollers, but do not store too many to avoid aging. The storage environment for rubber rollers is the same as for rubber blankets. Additionally, rubber rollers should be placed straight at the shaft neck, and their surfaces should not touch each other or other items to prevent deformation.
